After joining Adaptive Tech in 2017, Owain Withers progressed to Director in 2021, overseeing a global division.


As the director of the SaaS practice, Owain leads on VP, Head of and C-suite hires in the space. He works with firms that range from VC-backed(Seed funding/Series A) to post-IPO/PE owned, across the entire spectrum of SaaS specialisations.


Owain is a sports nerd and combined his two passions when graduating with a Business & Sports degree in 2016.

Ben joined Adaptive in 2011, specialises within the Digital and became a Director in 2015. Having grown the UK operations, in 2019 Ben’s scope evolved into a global leadership role, working with our international team and growing out Adaptive’s Digital practice.


Ben places executive-level talent in Marketing, Product, and Data & Analytics roles. He provides top-tier recruitment support to agencies, technology startups & scale-ups, as well as eCommerce brands across the US, UK and EU. He’s driven by leveraging his and our team’s specialist network and experience, to connect transformational talent in the executive sphere, to fast growth and digital first businesses.


Ben graduated with Honours from Staffordshire University, with a BSc degree in Film Production Technology. He’s an avid golfer, also enjoying squash, tennis and padel.

David James, the CEO of Adaptive Business Group the holding company of Adaptive Executive, focuses on supporting divisions, offices, teams, clients, candidates and vendors to succeed and create careers and relationships that we are all genuinely proud of.


David is highly passionate about driving people’s careers forward, aligning their vision, passion, development for their career, to that of the company, their markets, colleagues, clients, and candidates.  This has been the ethos from day one and has allowed Adaptive to create and be market leaders in the Life Science, Language Services & Technology, Digital Marketing and SaaS industries across Europe, the US.


David enjoys a hands-on approach and still manages M&A deals, and passionate about providing executive search solutions for leading and most innovative companies in our markets helping them achieve their short- and long-term objectives.  


David also runs software projects and companies, for the recruitment industry, looking at ways of improving the staffing industry in ethics and efficiency.

Rebecca Stevens officially joined Adaptive in 2017 and moved into a Director position in 2021, where she continued to lead and develop a multi-million euro division.

 

Rebecca is a Director within the Life Science practice, where she leads Senior and C-level executive search and recruitment projects across the DACH region for companies that are aggressively scaling their operations, product development, and market access. She is highly specialised in supporting medical device, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical manufacturers that seek rapid and/or exceptional performance from divisional business leaders. She has completed multiple C-Suite searches for the some of the fastest growing MedTech innovators in the DACH region, and secured high-level business leaders for the world’s biggest drug/device, and manufacturing companies in the Life Science sector.

 

In all of Rebecca’s executive search projects, she has 100% success in filling the position, and 100% retention.

 

Rebecca graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a LLB Law and Business Degree, and a Masters Degree in Corporate Governance and Law. She is deeply integrated in the Life Science community, regularly attending conferences and events, with impactful knowledge on regulatory and operational challenges impacting the industry.

Her passion is connecting talented professionals with exciting opportunities and helping disruptive businesses build high-performing teams that thrive in today's fast-paced digital world.

 

Paige graduated with Honors from the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in Psychology. When she’s not headhunting the world’s best digital talent, you can likely find her traveling to a new country, trying out a new restaurant, watching football, or spending time with family and friends.
